I went to school today
FIRST- I almost slipped on the ice in the parking lot.
SECOND- all day there was a ground blizzard
THIRD- I did not do any work today, instead I just talked to my friends and did not pay attention to the teachers.
So thats what they get for only delaying schools for only 90 minutes.

FIRST- I really admire your attitude at school. I would have skipped school to look at the snow.

SECOND- You got to enjoy walking on ice in your parking lot.
THIRD- You were treated not only to snowpack-----You enjoyed sustained cool winds AND BLOWING SNOW to boot!!!!!! You enjoyed the privilege of actually getting to experience a Ground Blizzard!!!!!!
Everyone living up north----------I envy you SO MUCH.
All that fresh snow-----AND winds, blowing the snow all over the place----that's the stuff of truly EPIC jebwalks. All those nice drifts.
Try as I might, I can not even begin to imagine it.
If you visit us down here in the MA, you had better bring an umbrella. And a really good raincoat, and waterproof boots.

Jeb, bro, I admire your love of winter weather....I love it too...but last night was almost too much. I was out late and the temp was -10 with a wind gusting to 40 mph or so. Wind chills were pushing -45 at times. I had to pump gas for my car and that was unbelievably cold.
Pretty much all schools in upstate NY were closed today.

Schools up here in Jefferson county were mostly open...including Watertown CSD, with about 50% walkers. In Syracuse most were closed, though. Also Carthage CSD which buses 95% of its students was closed.
Jeb- Have you ever though about moving up north?

I dream about it every day. I wish I could. I'm afraid I am indeed a Mid Atlantic Lifer-----Here for Life.
Oh I want to move north so bad. I want to live in the Olympic Mts or the Cascades or the Sierras at 8000 feet and enjoy all the snow there that falls in yards, not feet. I'd like to spend a whole winter in Upstate New York or better yet, in the mountains of New Hampshire at 5000 feet. I'd have all the snow and cold I could ever want. I'd live way out in the country and have my own road 20 miles long and shovel it by hand every time it snowed.
I would be so happy....................................
