HOT DAM The first "Heavy Snow Warning" in "2" years was JUST issued! I'm looking at a *possible* snowfall total of 24-32"

...HEAVY SNOW WARNING FOR TONIGHT ABOVE 6000 FEET...

ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 8 INCHES ARE EXPECTED
OVERNIGHT. SNOWFALL WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES. BY MORNING THE AREA
WILL SEE TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 10 TO 18 INCHES.

wahoo...don't you love that cut off low! whenever y'all get good snows it usually means well for us in the carolina;s :)

Enjoy the snow and keep us posted. This should also help, to some extent, with regard to easing the long-term drought.

I saw that on the NWS site and you were the first person that popped into my mind (along with Michelle of course :lol: )! Hpe it turns out well for ya and that this eases your drought some. :D

Dennis:

I hope this pattern lasts for you for about 3-4 months!! Good luck with the drought condiditons-I'll do some snow dances for ya-wait-better not-when I do them, I wind up with partly cloudy and 40 while to my south they have 3 feet of snow!!LOL-I'll just hope for you and keep watching!!

Well..."That was a B-U-S-T!" so far anyway *sigh*, we received a WHOPPPING 3".......BUT, I'm NOT giving up hope yet, it appears the low stalled last night and looking at the radar this morning, it's JUST NOW starting to move NE, there's an area of HEAVY precip just E of the Phoenix metro area heading NE towards us. "MAYBE, just MAYBE this is what they were refering to!"
