I've seen car gas as low as $1.63 per gallon just up the street from me (naturally that is the lowest octane stuff) but I have seen it as high as $1.88 or so for the high octane.
Dunno about my natural gas though ... I never see my bills.

It is times like these that I am grateful for my budget billing. THis past year I paid $69 a month for Natural gas usage. Averaged out throughout the year. I am sure next year that amount will go up to even out the price hike taking place now.
Gas at the pump is anywhere from $1.59 to $1.62 around here.
