Wow, I see the fire must be out again. No-one stopping by here lately. I guess I'll put some more wood on the fire. Heat up some water for a cup o' Joe. -14* here right now. I'm ready for spring.

Ugh- this pain in the bum wisdom tooth is bugging me again!! Only happens about once every six months for about a week and then I am fine!! It sucks because it hurts to talk, and we know how I love to blab!

Anywho, that's enough from the peanut gallery.

Good Morning!

WELL, we're getting our snow, just 6" at a time, I'm READY for a MAJOR dump! Ya know, 24-36"....SOON *x's his fingers*, looking at the AFD this morning, looks like the rest of the week AND most of next week is gonna be stormy!

Well, reckon pojo is thinking "OMG......what have I DONE?" She'll do fine, hey, if "I" can make it through boot camp, ANYONE can, of course, times have changed, I've *heard* that boot camp isn't as tough as it use to be!

We're on "CALL" ALL day today, seems there's a shortage of officers on duty today  So needless to say, I can't stay online too long, gotta free up the phone line.

HOWDY'S to everyone I missed and have a GREAT day!

Well Dennis, send some of that snow this way! It's been very cold here, lakes have frozen so kids can iceskate but sleds are getting dusty.

Laughed at your choice of words - getting ready for a major dump. :-)

Please send some of that snow down to Southeast Texas too! So many offers to send me snow...yet I sit on my porch every evening waiting for the delivery and it never arrives. :(

*sigh*

Come on Santa...that's all I asked for. lol :)

Chilly day here in Scottsdale after .43" of rain overnight. That would translate to about 4-5" for ya, Dennis! Better get it this weekend, though, as early next week looks to warm up a bit!

Just to let you know how unstable some people really are...I'll paint a not-so-pretty picture of one.

I chose a career where I work on holidays...
I study weather as a hobby where I go outside when sirens wail to go in...
I waited six years for a spot on the Scottsdale Planning Commission ( a thankless job with an endless commitment) and finally got the call today that I'm now a commissioner.

Going outside, not in, when a storm comes, being enthusiastic about money-fed politics, and working on holidays to boot. Is this guy nuts?

What kind of guy takes on those things with a smile?

Poppysky does (at least he will when the pain from this bout with shingles goes away!)

Poppysky - I hope those shingles soon subside for you. The torture you must be going thru - you are in my prayers for a speedy healing process. Perhaps a trip to see Miss Emma might be a good healing potion. :-)

You are a rare individual, yes indeed. The world can use many more like you! :D
Prayers continue until you are free from pain.
