MORNING...

LOW PRESSURE MOVING FROM THE SOUTHERN PLAINS NORTHEAST ACROSS OHIO
SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY WILL SPREAD A WINTRY MIX OF SIGNIFICANT
PRECIPITATION OVER THE AREA SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY MORNING.

AT THIS TIME...IT IS EXPECTED SNOW WILL DEVELOP SUNDAY AFTERNOON THEN
CHANGE TO A MIX OF SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN SUNDAY NIGHT...THEN

THE TWO.

A WINTER STORM WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN SEVERE WINTER WEATHER IS
POSSIBLE, BUT NOT IMMINENT. AT THE TIME, THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR
SIGNIFICANT SNOW AND/OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS. FUTURE DRIVING AND WALKING
CONDITIONS MAY BECOME HAZARDOUS, SO IT IS IMPORTANT TO MONITOR THE

LOL........Beat me to it. Was looking at the latest ETA 06Z. Nice to see them come awake.

BTW ETA pretty much the same. One thing of note however is that it wants to hold onto the precip a little longer up your way which could mean some icing or sleet at the end up there.......

On another note the ETA brings in more precip to the Carolinas after the inital hit BUT with warm enough temps to be mainly rain. Something is up with that????

One of the quirks of working in a healthcare facility - 24/7 - Especially in the IS dept. While the reports are being generated I get to surf. On a Friday that means about 3.5 hours of nothing much to do.

Funny thing though: I was WATCHING for the WSW to come up, on the NWS site, IWIN and SPC and nothing showed the watches until I went to the NOAA site itself and saw the National map of watches/warnings etc... and saw that we had a watch. I posted as soon as I saw it.
