Dry cold air and Winter storms

I heard once of a 5-inch snow event in which the entire snow event was in effect evaporated by the dry air.

I can not remember when it happened or where, but I have heard of instances where the dry, cold air was so strong, that it actually evaporated all the falling snow before it could actually reach the ground!

I have a question and that question is, How much of the expected snowfall over N VA will this instance of dry air evaporate?

I really need to stop praying for so much arctic air LOL!!!!

Uh-Oh......our dewpoint has fallen by one degree, to -1 degrees. I don't like this at all........hmmmm.............

Can there really be such a thing as too much CAD? OUCH!!
