Hate to see the ice storm for DC metro disappear, but I guess that's the way it goes... let's see what tonight's ECMWF has to say about that potential MECS next week.

Well, since everyone is posting a "Where I am Located" with this system:

I'm right under the RED dot:

ME

**EDIT** Sorry. My ISP must be having some problems. If it doesn't come up just check back again. It may be due to a power outage as when I left for work (16:00) it was 24F and Heavy Rain

Yea looks that way by DTs call. However i think you will do better then what he is showing. Me gonna be hard to shake the shaft unless this storm can do what the last did and thats go about 100 or so miles farther south.

The NWS has 1-3" Tues. and another 1-3" Tues. night. That would be about right, according to the lines on DT's map.

Ahh i see. That does sound better. Here they are just saying 1 - 2 inches tomorrow and maybe another inch tomorrow night. Either way i guess the waiting game continues in these parts for anything worth mentioning! Unless like i said get luck and this system goes 100 miles or so farther to the s. Which dont look good right now.

Just a quick update:

Medina County - Right in the middle of the county(at work) and the rain is really coming down. I broke some snow  to check the ice thickness and it was between 1/4" and 1/5" . This was right up against a building too!!!
