First: 17
Last: 2046

In flipping through the surnames, it's amazing how many NWS mets jumped out at me. I've been reading way too many forecast discussions!

Remember to use Ctrl+F and put the name (word) you are looking for instead of having to scroll down the entire list.

As for not wanting to post our last name (surname)... we could search for the rank of that name and know it is at least one that is listed for that ranking.

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.

Pretty interesting! I'm quite surprised, though, that what we think of as more "traditionally old-fashioned" names are very HIGH on this list! Do you suppose this means that a huge portion of our population are "seniors"??!!??

examples; Mary (1), Linda (3), Barbara (4), Margaret (9), Dorothy (10).....how many young "Dorothy's" do you know?, Betty (14), Helen (15), Ruth (19).....and so on

Names that SEEM popular now appear much lower!.........p

(oh yea.....I was Pamela (37) Meinke (20,685).....

I was at 88th with first name.
Last name wasn't on the list. Probably because it was an Indian name and the spelling has changed many times over the years.
