Where Is The Snow...

I just got done with very heavy sleet and now nothing. When do I start getting into the 1'' per hour?

what about for my area, im here in northeast philly, near pne airport. Its sleeting, when can I expect a change to snow?

Look on the top of the board here and you should see a link that says radar on it. If not then click the link in my Sig which is storm2k weather central where everything can be found.

NWS site-covers Philly and NJ (I think)

and check out this radar which illustrates the band which is hitting ABE right now and should slam Brick, NJ pretty hard-----it is still intensifying so the band by itself will probably dump 3 to 5 inches on Brick NJ.

You should see sleet change to snow across New Jersey and nearby states as dynamic cooling allows the snow to fall through the warm mid-layer without melting. The radar around NYC shows some convective appearence to the precip. so it's probably sleeting or mixed there too. Waiting and watching here in SE Mass. :lol:

do u think i will have school tomorrow? they closed monday for 2'', so we have lots of ice and are expected to get the same.
