This was a good storm. It was also memorable for two reasons:
1) 10.3" fell in NYC making this the first winter since 1995-96 with two 10" or greater snowstorms.
2) NYC reached 30" for seasonal snowfall for the second consecutive winter for the first time since Winters 1959-60 and 1960-61. 40" is within reach.
Also, the 2000s have now seen NYC reach 30" or above in seasonal snowfall the most winters (3 so far) since the 1960s (4).

If NYC gets over 18+ inches in 1 storm, It would be back to back Major snowstorms!! I would love to see another 1996 blizzard! 35 inches in NW NJ, My house 26.8- 27 inches of snow!!
