Another possible icestorm for Monday?

#1 Postby GaWxDude » Thu Jan 29, 2004 12:44 am

What does everyone think the chances are of North GA seeing yet another icestorm on Monday? FFC seems to think temps will be too warm with upper 30s Sunday night and lower 40s Monday with light rain and drizzle. They did bust BIGTIME with last weekends storm by predicting mid 60s on Friday for Sunday afternoon when in fact on Sunday temps only ranged from the low to mid 30s across the area (a 30-35° temp bust in some cases), so needless to say FFC does usually do a terrible job predicting temps during wedges. So, maybe it will once again be colder than they think, and just cold enough to give us another icestorm, well, for those of us who actually got lucky (including myself) during last weekend's storm. Any thoughts?

It currently looks as if temps may be too warm for an ice storm in north GA on Monday. But as you said, temps may end up lower than forecast.
