AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION...UPDATED
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORT WORTH TX
1148 CST THU JAN 29 2004


.UPDATE...
PRESSURE RISES OCCURRING NORTH OF THE REGION AND THIS WILL
HELP PUSH THE ARCTIC FRONT SOUTHWARD TO THE RED RIVER BY 6 PM...AND
INTO THE I-20 CORRIDOR BY 9 PM...THEN ON SOUTHWARD OVERNIGHT. INCREASING WARM AIR ADVECTION
PATTERN AHEAD OF APPROACHING SHORT WAVE WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE
PROBLEMS FOR THE ARCTIC AIRMASS...WHICH HAS LOST MUCH OF ITS
PUNCH...
SCATTERED LIGHT RAIN AND SPRINKLES ARE EXPECTED FOR THE SOUTHEAST
HALF TODAY THROUGH EARLY EVENING. NOT MUCH MORE THAN 1/10 INCH IS
EXPECTED.

ANOTHER COLD FRONT IS DUE INTO NORTH TEXAS SUNDAY NIGHT...AND A
SECOND ONE WITH SCATTERED RAIN NEXT WEDNESDAY. 75

Yeah Dallas really jumped the gun on this one from suddenly dropping your lows into the teens for this weekend to now only in the 30's. Doesn't look like we'll be getting any real cold air down here either.

Yea, it's hard to read the models, it's a 50/50 chance.
