Hey fellow friends,

Dennis, best wishes for the ol foot :)

Jacki hang in there dear hope you get a snow storm then you will have a day off before tuesday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANNON....

My ankle is the size of a balloon this morning and had a bad nights sleep, so I think I may just sneak off for an afternoon nap here by the stove and pop a few tylenol.

Take care all.

Morning everyone! Glorious sunshine and temps in the 20s! A heat wave perhaps? Looks like today is my last day of freedom until Saturday. Wednesday-Friday I have appointments out the wazoo including getting a new license camera card which is now 2 weeks passed! I have 2 appts with the VA tomorrow...usual routines.

Thursday I go to the eye doc and see what my options for laser recovery on this damaged and abrasioned cornea will cost me having no insurance. It needs to be done so I can rest easy and not have these mornings where it feels like a cigarette burning my eyeball.

Time to have some lunch and get back to the boards.

Here's a little tidbit most of you didnt know: Between yesterday and today in the 24 hour period I posted nearly 800 times. I'm not braggin, just showing you I have no life at the moment! Peace!

breeze - In case you still haven't been caught up to speed, Dennis, who had foot surgery over a month ago, has had a relentless infection right down to the bone. "Sawbones" is gonna clean it out today. Although I think he had to go into the city to a specialist for this procedure, right guys?

Prayers for healing to our friends: Dennis, Amanzi, Rob, and all others who are in need.

pojo - Happy birthday finally! Dang, it's bad enough having a dorky brother, but to share the same birthday?! What a troubled childhood you must've endured. Did you bring us a doggy bag from "Noodles". Woof, woof!

Garrett - You have no class everyday! j/k :P You left yourself wide open for that one, dude. :D

David - What's the good word????!!!!

Happy day all!

Good afternoon everyone!

I haven't posted in here in several days. It took me a while just to catch up.

David.. I hope your interview today goes well. I'm sure you'll let us know when you get a chance.

Amanzi...Ouch! I hope you feel better soon.

Breeze...Looks like that cough has been going around! Ugh! Mine has gotten much better...thank God!

Pojo...Happy Birthday again!! I left you a message in the Birthday forum. :D

Dennis...Good luck on the foot. That's gotta hurt. :(

If I missed something important, I apologize. I just skimmed over a ton of pages and may have missed something.

It's sunny and warm today but that is supposed to change for tomorrow. Looks like the clouds will be moving in tomorrow and then rain for Wednesday. And just when the mud puddles were getting smaller!

Everyone have a great afternoon!

My mom has a picture of me holding my little brother when he first came home from the hospital, needless to say, I was not a happy camper. :grr: :grr: He spoiled my 4th birthday party! :grr: :grr: Growing up, he would always get the bigger presents because well, he was into trucks and farm (that explains alot!). I always thought that we were judged by the size of the presents. So he would always win the contest. But now I think about it, we could careless about the size of the presents, just as long as there is MONEY in the cards! :D  (we are both like that...we pick up on that "I smell money" scent and go ripping through the cards looking for it.) My step-dad's mother would always bake the cake for us, and for EVERY birthday she would make a 16x20 in cake (it was split up for both of us). We did have the sibling rivarly, but it was slim to none. But growing up, my brother and I really never fought nor did we yell at each other.

My brother is one of the comedians in the family (seriously!) :D  My grandmother doesn't know who came from what gene pool, because 2 of my uncles (my mom has 4 brothers), my cousin Eric, my brother and my cousin Kennedy all are comedians! :D  All the rest of us are quiet compaired to them. Dead serious...get us all together and all heck breaks lose (birthdays, graduation, confirmation, christmas, weddings, fish fry's, etc) ...get some music going especially surfing music (ie Beach Boys) and my brother the surf board and my cousin Kennedy is the surfer! :o   :o We have pictures from my step-sisters wedding! It was SOOO funny to watch! :D  We get 2 shot glasses out thinking that we are drinking, but nope, that's the wrong idea...its the quarter trick time    (don't ask...its hilarious to watch, just think of someone that has to go to the bathroom really bad). :o :D Or get some games going, with presents...and oh boy, you'll never see or hear the last of it! :D   Needless to say, we all look forward to family get-togethers...its party time! :D :D :D  Seriously, grown men act like children!!! :D

Its ironic now, because when I am with the family, i'm relatively a quiet comedian (I do have my moments), but when I'm with my Habitat friends, well, I am the comedian! :D :D

Unfortunately, we did have any leftovers...my brother is a vacuum cleaner right now...so he eats everything in sight. (yup, he's growing) :o :o :o

Southerngale...that's a neat poem...thanks :) :D

Well off to work. :new-bday: :new-bday: to me :)

Hello everyone. What a rotten day at work. Bustin my hump for my new boss who is really getting on my nerves. He's the type that knows everything, wants everything his way, puts people down, etc, etc. One of these days, one of these days.......

Well Breeze and Storm Crazy, I really didn't mind that you hijacked my thread for your own amusement. I was rolling too. If you can't have fun, what's the point?

It seems that a lot of people are having health issues of one sort or another. Best wishes to all for speedy recoveries.

Pojo, happy birthday.
