Good to hear from you Dennis. Silence is not always golden! And Jara, that's terrific about Payden, too. Hope the followup tests are positive as well.

One very special prayer request needs to be sent to Pawlee (Paul) who has lost his father. Not unexpected, it is nevertheless a difficult time for him...and his personal life has been an ongoing challenge as well.

Most of you may know Paul for his wonderful artistic talent. You may also know him as a lover of the sky.

He is traveling east to his father's funeral from Illinois so please pray for his safe travel as well.

Steve, thanks for letting us know about Paul's dad. He has not been forthcoming about it. Know Pawlee that you are covered by prayer and traveling mercies from West Houston. Prayers rising as I type.

Jara, it is so good to hear about Payden. Still praying that all comes back positive!!!

DENNIS!!!!!!SO GLAD TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!!!!!CALL ME!!!!!!*tapping foot rapidly waiting for the phone to ring*tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap*

I got some news today ... an apartment has opened up in which the rent is $200 a month cheaper than what I am paying right now, so that means that my share would be $100 a month less. :D I'll keep you posted. Prayers please that I can get it? ;)

Well I have some awesome news tonight...

Picked up two job applications, and turned one in. At one of the places I applied at last week, I checked in to see what the status of my application was. They said that turnover is rather high (a good thing) but they are generally OK for now (not so good). They are holding on to all of the applications however (another good thing :) ).

As for the apartment, it's almost a guaranteed thing that I'll be getting it. :) :D I found out just now that things are looking way up, and they are starting to set up the move. I'm so jazzed! :D I will have to get my cable Internet access transferred over to the new place though so until I do (andd after I leave here) I will have limited Net time. I'll let you know of a date as it draws closer because I don't have one yet.

THANK YOU PRAYER WARRIORS! :) :D

That's all great news Joshua!
Just a small word of caution. Be leery of a company that has a high turnover. People are leaving for a reason. It may not be the place you should be. :)

I don't know WHERE to start! First off.....thanks for ALL the prayers, I'm telling you before God and the WHOLE WORLD, prayers DO, repeat, they "DO" WORK!

Michelles mother, I don't know what to say, short of a miracle, she's back! Blood pressures been holding at 150/80 (I can ONLY WISH mine was THAT good).....she's eating, she's sitting up in a chair. Come to find out, it was confirmed today, she did have a stroke. A little droop on the left side of the face, her speak is still slurred a bit, other than that! PRAISE GOD!

Michelle and I are ironing things out, 99% of the problems have been dealt with (mainly the 30-40 phone calls per DAY for the past 8 months....seriously, we were receiving OVER 30-40 calls per DAY!)......hence the reason that when someone from the board calls me, I don't answer the phone, I let the voice mail screen the calls!

Bottom line......Thank you from the very BOTTOM of my heart and soul, every single one of you who held me up and lifted my spirits in my time of great stress and needs!

NOW.......to everyone out there that needs prayers, I've got y'all covered!

I'm glad things seem to be getting back on track Dennis. You really weren't yourself the last few weeks and it got me and a whole bunch of us worried. I'm glad that your mother-in-law is doing better.

I have found out that the office I am working for is advertising and interviewing. My presumption is that I will be replaced, probably after this week, even though I have heard nothing since my last meeting with the owner. He apparently thinks he can get someone cheaper that can do everything I can do so I say more power to him. I have not been allowed to do all I can do even though I have offered and he apparently has the thought in his mind that I "oversold" myself which I did not. Apparently we are in an untenable situation here so I say so be it. God is always at work in my life and I know and accept that whatever may happen. All I ask is a simple prayer from my WONDERFUL PRAYER WARRIORS that the situation work out as God intends it to work out.

David...once again the unsettled times need some calmer waters. The process will run its course, and the result will be new opportunity. Maybe with that company. Maybe not.

Thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm sorry to hear that David. It's tough having to deal with something like that on a daily basis. I certainly hope that something comes through for you soon!
