Actually, I've got 18"...the offical snowfall total for Pinetop is only 6". The reporting station for Pinetop sits in the trees, we as I sit in an open meadow, no trees (except for the ones I've planted) and I live less than 1/2 mile from the Mogollon Rim so I get the FULL BLUNT force of the orographic lift!

That is a very nice area where you live, AZ. I used to run up there once a week on Tuesdays when I drove for Southwest Tire out of Phoenix. I would do 2 stops in Globe, then one in White River, one in Lakeside, one in Show Low, one in Taylor, and finish up in Holbrook. It was a long day, but a very beautiful drive.

If ever I saw 2 snowflakes alike... I would have made sure and NOT to lose them... I would have taken them inside the house so the wind couldn't have blown them away...then I would have framed them to keep them as a memory...OR I would have put them in a bottle with the lid nice and tight and put them next to the fireplace..so that I could get a good view of them.

Yeah! No Way they were gonna escape...nooo way.
