Mississippi getting hammered today

#1 Postby timNms » Thu Feb 05, 2004 4:26 pm

Flash flooding, tornadoes, severe thunderstorms....not the best day to be out. Numerous tornado warnings in my area (Smith, Simpson, Jasper counties, just to name a few). So far, we've been fortunate in Covington County. Looking to the west, things look to be moving in this direction. The sky is darkening. I'm just anxious for my kids to get home from school. I should have picked them up early. I don't like the idea of them being on the bus when the weather is nasty.

I know the feeling about your kids tim. We have not had any threatening weather here on the coast today. Stay safe up there.

Thanks, Linda. They made it home safely. Believe it or not, it stopped raining right before the bus got here.
