Breaking news in Beaumont tonight as hundreds of employees have been evacuated from the Postal Encoding Center at Pearl and Orleans.
A suspicious white powdery substance was found in the men's bathroom. Also, there was some kind of note left saying it was Anthrax and people would be hurt. People from the post office started calling sometime around 9:30pm tonight and HAZMAT teams are there now.

Now Kelly I thought u were beyond making Hoaxes or pranks.

Thanks for the update while I was still snoozing Suzi Q.
Mark, J is right, everything is not a joke. You need to learn when to zip it up.

Breaking New: Field Tests Come Back Negative on White Powder Found in U.S. Postal Service Remote Encoding Center; Employees Allowed to Return to Work
A Beaumont Police Department dispatcher tells Channel 6 News, a second field test shows an unidentified white substance found inside the U.S. Postal Service Remote Encoding Center at Pearl and Orleans in downtown Beaumont is not a hazardous material.
The Beaumont Fire Department evacuated the building earlier tonight after finding the substance.
Just before 1:15 a.m., officials began to let employees back into the building.
Although the substance tested negative for a hazardous material, investigators haven't yet determined exactly what it is.
Hundreds of employees spent nearly 3 hours standing outside of the building.
Beaumont police and hazardous materials teams assisted the fire department with the evacuation.
In a live news cut-in at 10:45 p.m. on KFDM, Beaumont Police Sgt. R.J. Smith told reporter Kathleen Mitchell someone found a white substance on the floor of the men's room at about 10:10 p.m. Thursday night, with a piece of paper over the powder and the word 'anthrax' written on it.
Again, all of the workers who were evacuated and the employees who arrived to work their night shift only to stand outside, have now been allowed into the building.
The F.B.I. is investigating to find out who placed the substance in the building.
That person could face federal charges.
