Very sad news. I feared this would be the outcome but I had prayed officials would find her in time. How tragic for her family and what that poor girl went thru during her last hours. I shudder to think of that. I have two daughters and we discussed this story last night, in detail. What they should do if ever approached.

If he has a lengthy criminal record--why isn't he in jail?!?!?!

Good question

#12 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Fri Feb 06, 2004 7:30 am

He's has previous charges on kidnapping. They should either hang that B#$TARD or at least keep him off the streets.

A sad day. It makes me mad to hear the outcome with the 11 year old girl. We can only just say a prayer for her family and give them lots of sympathies for their loss. They're taking this more than anyone at this point.

Yeah I find it weird that that guy was in the streets with the bad background he had.

good question. in this case i would give hom life with no parole in the worst prison out there. convicts dont care for child abusers/killers. they are at the bottom of the totem pole in prisons

It is so unnecessary, of course. The weaknesses of man bring out the worst. I don't think there is any crime worse than one committed against a child.

Absolutely. Why it is that someone can have 13 felonies on their record and not be locked up for life is beyond me. I'm not for the death penalty at all, but I hope this guy is locked up in maximum confinement for life with no parole... clearly that should have happened a long time ago, though, and it's the justice system's fault for not making it happen. I just don't get it... we're so overly lenient with people that commit crime after crime by letting them stay on the streets despite their danger, then suddenly we become overly harsh by putting them to death when they finally "cross the line" by committing murder.

here's the thing

#18 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Fri Feb 06, 2004 8:24 am

I don't get our society. Why when he did a previous kidnapping that he got off??? That's what's sad about the whole thing.

To committ a horrible crime against a child is sad enough, it's worse that this idiot was out on the streets and got away with the last set of kidnapping charges. He should be set to 2 life sentences. Let him suffer it behind bars for life. If not, give him the slowest execution on record and see what it's like to suffer.

That's a shame!!

Sometimes I think people like him ought to have to die slow and painful deaths just like their victims. Why anyone would want to hurt a child is beyond me!
