wow... and Offutt is sitting at 20". I'm not positive what Gretna is reporting, but I'd guess it's close to Eppley's numbers, if not higher.

Before this event, Eppley was at 21". They received 5" of snowfall which brought the snowdepth to 26".

As for Gretna, we got 7.5"

you know... I was just watching something on TV about that. I think the Eppley observer is a bit confused. The old February record was 18. It's now 26... or 22. The NWS said in their report 26 but local mets are saying 22. Who knows what's the correct number.. I assume 26". Regardless, the all-time record is 27"

We may have to start the Omaha Snow: Round Four thread soon. :(

Looking at the 00Z Canadian global model, we have a two-day snowstorm in store here Sunday-Monday with 4-8 inches of snowfall possible.

We'll see...

No storm says the new ETA - just a progressive shortwave to produce maybe an inch or two of snow tops on Sunday

Sunday morning 48hr output(as far out as this MM5 goes) brings snows to much of SD, western NE, and heavy snows in the CO mountains. Its 300mb trough is rather narrow, not good for a storm, but the 500 and 700mb trough features look good enough for a few inches of snow around here Sunday afternoon-night. We shall see. NWS official forecast for here is for "snow likely" here Sunday night with a chance of snow on Sunday and Monday.
