DUDES RETIRING!!
Been a good 15 years in the Air Force.......But Im strongly considering giving it up this spring when the time comes, I never thought I would be in this long...I just signed up because when I was 18 I had no idea where I wanted to go in life, Well I thank the USAF for everything, It has bought everthing I own but there are better opportunities out there for me. Just pray that the lord will lead me to the right decision!
Thanks in advance!
Mike

WOW Mike peeps are dropping from the AF like flies :o on the enlisted side they have opened up 12,000 slots for peeps to bail. If the USAF can't find vols to get out they will then start pointing fingers saying your out, your out and so on. This is the SAME thing that happened in 94 with the downsizing and what happend....they then had a retention problem and had to recruite more peeps a few yrs later.
As for you my frined I salute you! You have severed your country well and you deserve to be happy. I pray that God will lead and guide your every move as you trasition from AD to being a Civilian. I also pray that doors will open and that opportunities will surface allowing you access to your dreams.
I have 5 years left since I have reenlisted just last year for the second time (over 10 yrs in now) and well it looks like I am a lifer especially if I make TSgt this yr or next.
