Tranquil Weather Before The Storms

#1 Postby Anonymous » Sun Feb 08, 2004 5:18 pm

This week looks uneventful and pleasant with lots of sun for the Northeast with highs in the mid to upper 30s to low 40s. Could this be the calm before the cold and stormy pattern that is forecasted to set up mid month and last for some time? Go out with with a big bang as they say for this winter. don't get me wrong, I like warm weather, but lets see a return to the more winter like scenario, with blizzards and frigid air, which may occur late this month and March. What are your thoughts on this one. Clomotoligy seems to sugest that we will see major storm, or atleast 6+ to 12+ widespread sometime soon. (I know I made plenty of SP errors  )

i like warm weather, but i love snow even more. im originally from the northeast so im not in the dark when it comes to major winter storms. you will probably get your major snowstorm in march.

and maybe not just one either.

I'm thinking we will get 2-3 more 6"+ systems, and one 12"+ system in March. :)
