Attention Texas Snow Geese:
JB from Accuweather says decent chance that by Friday night, snow/ice is on the ground north of I-10 from Junction to Childress. (Sorry Houston).
I dunno. At this late stage of winter, this looks like our last hope for anything interesting weatherwise before severe storm season begins.
He is really bullish on arctic air plunging our temps. Meanwhile, the NWS forecasters are banking on their GFS, like usual.

Let me see???? How many of those Arctic outbreaks has Texas had to endure this year? (sarcasism)

Well, we did have that particularly brutal arctic chill a few weeks ago which brought us frigid temps in the 70's for a few days!
