First Snow brought 5-7 inches across D/FW

#1 Postby CaptinCrunch » Sat Feb 14, 2004 1:50 pm

It was a Happy Valentines Day for us, we awoke to 4 inches of fluffy wet snow with it still falling. When all said and done and it finally quit snowing around noon we had a total of 5 inches in the grass and 6 in. on the cars. :D

It was the biggest snow fall since 1978. It wont last as the high Sunday will be in the lower 50's

when I get some pics I will post them.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

P.S. Me and the Wife with our 15 month old boy took a WONDERFUL Jeb walk in the park with the snow falling and the duck's in the pond. :D

I congratulate you and your family on what was obviously an enjoyable jebwalk in the snow!!!! :) :)

Boy I am happy for you, but a little jealous, as we've already topped out at 51 degrees here again today!

Enjoy that snow!!!! :) :) :)

Captain I think we're all a little jealous of you today. Just rain, rain, and more rain down here. Please post some pictures when you get a chance and enjoy it while it lasts.

Enjoy it while it lasts Captin!

I saw pics on TWC this morning - all of the people playing in the snow and a truck that was being pulled out of a ditch. Just be careful down there since you guys really aren't used to this!
