West TN and North MS hit hard by snow...

Not much talk about the event here in Western Tennessee and Northern Mississippi, but some counties got hit fairly hard. These areas were put under a heavy snow warning early this morning. Check out the totals...

I think there was one report I believe in Lawrence County I believe in southern Tennessee of 11" of snow. I gotta check. But a very heavy wet snow down there and a good reason for those power outages.

Wet snow is heavier and sticks to trees and powerlines. That can be bad if the wet snow piles up too much.
