It is ashame isn't it dude - but we've seen it happen all of the time. We want a storm so bad we can taste it and go over the edge when it doesn't pan out. That's why the weather is so intriguing. However, it does noone any good if they get so obsessed with it that it totally ruins your day. Let's just watch and see what happens.

hurricanedude - watching a snowstorm miss your area by a small margin or having it be rain while not far to your NW it is snow is like being a fan of the Eagles the past 3 seasons. So close (they make it to the NFC Championship game), but so far away (they don't make it to the Superbowl). Personally, I can understand the frustration. But in this case, I am not too upset because I realize there are still opportunities later in Feb and in early March.

Ouch! That STILL HURTS!

You're right on the money there John! You just can't let it consume your whole life!

True, but you could say that about a lot of things. My wife wondered why I was upset when the Eagles lost to the Panthers in the NFC Champion game. I said "because I am a die-hard Eagles fan". Die-hard snow fans hate to see a storm miss them, especially if they are young. I am old enough to be more diplomatic about it.

The farmers almanac this year has gotten nothing right. They said a monster snowstorm in the first days of this month, it didn't happen. They promise more storms on certain dates, it will not happen. This year they have been very wrong. I don't trust them like I did earlier this year. Yes, we will get more storms after this one. I like Dt's 6+ along the coast, take that Colin
