I agree with the map to a point... but some snow totals will be increased some.... and the amounts should be moved west!

OTW, good map!

The snowfall amounts are way too high...the jackpot areas will receive only 2-4 inches from this storm.

Yes, i understand... but this is on the low end of amounts... based on the GFS 12z today...

I DO hope that it'll move west so you can get some... but we will have to wait and see with the 18z!

Here is why you will not see 8+ inches in Richmond...

1. The Low will not bomb out.

2. The Low will not track up the coast.

3. The Low will trend south and east.

4. However, you should see "some" snow.

5. Enjoy the 50's by Thursday and Friday.

The low forms by Cape Hatteras
If snow comes, like lets say 3".... then temps WOULD NOT be in the 50s...
Anyway, the forecast is 40s until Saturday!!

Maybe should wait until after the 18z and 00z? As DT said " The 18z is for trends, not for QPF."

Yoda...no fear here...

I'm still sticking to my guns that there will not be a major storm along I-95 from Richmond to BWI the rest of this winter...at least 8+ inches...

This storm will certainly not do it and the rest of the week would be a rain event.
