What are the chances.......

That Raleigh, NC could see a repeat of the Jan. 2000 snowstorm with the upcoming midweek event???? Greg Fishel on channel 5 saiid that we will either get NOTHING or something MAJOR.. What are your thoughts??? Thanks in advance..

I think this next system is a major migraine for all wx forecasters here in the East...

It shows now a line of demarcation -------- right up through my county of Halifax near the border...

I think that you may get 5-7". This is my guess for Raleigh, NC.

I am beginning to think this may be mainly a coastal snow. That most of the precip will be east of I-95 in VA. If you live along the Coast---NC north, you better look out---this thing could blast you with snow and wind.

I wouldn't mind it panned out to being an Outer Banks event concerning NC
...for myself...not into Jebwalks...hate shoveling...don't need driving hassles to get to my part-time job. :P

You don't have to worry Skywatch......it probably won't hit you guys too bad, just a little chilly wind and an inch of snow, then major warming trend into this weekend.

We will get even less than you will.
