Hey JQ! Just a few weeks back the Father was outraged about all this. But yet now he has changed his tune? I do not believe it was a lie.

Me either. Her dad said this:
“I think he’s a sleazeball. I did kind of wonder if my daughter didn’t get that kind of feeling herself.

“He’s not the sort of guy I would choose to be with my daughter.”

and now suddenly says this:
"We have spoken to our daughter and the allegations that have been made regarding her are completely false and unsubstantiated. We love and support her 100 percent and these unfounded rumors are hurtful to our entire family. We appreciate the way Senator Kerry has handled the situation, and intend on voting for him for president of the United States."

The most recent statement sounds like it was written for him.

And then there's this from Alex's friend:
"This is not going to go away," one American friend of Miss Polier said yesterday. "What actually happened is much nastier than is being reported."

Lindaloo, your partisan republican blinders are preventing you from seeing the truth. If you want to go down this road, let's talk about the fact that:
1. G W. Bush used cocaine frequently as a youth.
2. Osama's brother was having a meeting with George H.W. Bush on 9/11/01.
3. Henry Hyde forced a mistress of his to have an abortion to cover up their affair.
4. Bush's intoxicated driving arrest in the 70s.

If you want to go down this road of impugning the personal reputations of democrats, go ahead and I will impugn the personal reputations of republicans.

I don't want to do that.

I wan't a debate on the issues.

But my blood boils slightly when you refuse to believe the truth and believe a lie.

Mrs. Poiller admits to having an affair with a Kerry finance chief, but not Kerry himself.

END OF STORY.....

P.S: This is part of the republican slime machine that from January 20,1993 to January 20,1998 was searching for a way to impeach a democratically elected president and then the U.S Supreme court stole the 2000 presidential election.

Now you, Linda, are not part of the republican slime machine. You are kind and generous, but Drudge certainly IS NOT.

Well I believe the truth will come out once again. And BTW, Kerry is already a broken record.

Thats interesting fantasy. I agree with the DWI as Bush admitted. I'm sure he tried drugs as most have but he didn't blow it off by saying he didn't inhale. Former Pres. Bush was in Texas on 9/11...did they ship Osama Jr. in? Henry Hyde is not running for President.

See...you miss the difference. Bush and Hyde did not run from these reports. When it came out, they admitted their mistakes. They did not ask what the meaning of "is" is. The did not send out their goons to destroy their opponent then stand there and say "who me", like Kerry's National Guard attack on Bush. Liberals never stop amazing me. Its someone else, or genetic or its the Republicans fault. It was Clark who started this in front of 3 reporters. Get your twisted facts straight, stop quoting "MoveOn.org" and rejoin the "Democratunderground".

In the words of our President....bring it on!!

But stormchazer, these allegations are simply not true. Kerry's denying them because he knows it's B.S. BTW, Kerry isn't sliming anybody.

Oh and my opinions are my own, 100%. Don't worry about that.

I'm a rare bleed. I'm a caucasian young male who's a liberal. lol.

First off, you ain't that rare.

Second of all, Ted Kennedy is also so unpopular because he is so liberal. He also drinks too much (this is not slander, it is a known fact). I lived in Hyannis for a while, about 4 miles from the Kennedy compound. He wasn't in town much, but when he was, he was lit up. He was known unaffectionately as the town drunk.

Thirdly, something is fishy, because the parents, who are republicans (according to a paper, but I forgot which one) and were calling Kerry a sleazeball, but now say he is ok and they are going to vote for him? Did I miss something?

In my personal opinion, I think there is more to this than Kerry is letting the public know. It seems odd that the girl's father would say one thing a few days ago and something totally different today. I do think we'll hear more about this in the coming days.
IF Kerry is guilty of this affair, the best thing for him to do would be to admit to it. I think the American people would be a lot more forgiving of his honesty than to find out that he lied about it.
On another note, regardless of the outcome of this alleged affair, I think once Bush gets kicked into high gear and starts bringing up Kerry's voting record, the American public is going to see the true Kerry.
If I were a Democrat, just the sight of Kennedy campaigning with Kerry would be enough to change my vote! I can't stand that Kennedy guy!
