You really need to find yourself a Band! And they would be LUCKY to have someone like you!

Yes, on both parts ... but nah, really ... I LOVE performing, and that love of singing (and expressing) is beginning to fuel a fire that I haven't had in quite some time ...

I have to perform Thursday night (the sound tech, Joe, has asked me to sing at Sportz Cafe on Thursday night, and the special request is TOOL - Schism) ... even Becky is gonna hound me about that ...

Update on Becky: We're just going to be friends ... we discussed a lot of things, and it's best this way ...

SF, that is such a high, isn't it? Especially when it comes out great.

Music is such a universal way to express ourselves, and you, I know, have music at the core of your life.

Congratulations on the good experience. Hope it leads to some more opportunity along the way.

Steve, it's probably the best way that I can express myself, and I can also use someone's interpretation (of their original work) and make it my own when I do the singing ... it's been most therapeutic.

:D My new band has been practicing and rehearsing for over 8 months with out playing a gig. We've had a few parties but it's not the same as playing in front of a few hundred (or thousand) people. After many auditions since before Thanksgiving, we finally found our 2nd guitarist and hope to be playing out in a couple/few months. I am so jonesing to be on stage again. For me it's an addiction for sure!

There was probably about 75 people, maybe 100, but it sounded like a 1000 the way the crowd went nuts with applause ... and by far, the best ovation of the night (when I was there) ... it rocked ...

Well done SF!!!!!! Its just a matter of time before your in the right place at the right time and some big wig hears you!

If that occurs and things work out that way, I'd be quite happy! ... I did get a band offer that night from the sound tech's assistant ... but I declined at that time ... until I resolve some issues (one's already resolved), I feel that I shouldn't commit to something that I can't give 100% to at this time.

Wow SF!!! I can't even imagine that rush, you must have been on the top of the world!

Believe me, Jacki ... it's the best that I've felt all year, and probably since last March in Savannah to tell you the truth.
