Marshall, prayers are flowing from W. Houston for Caitlan and for the rest of the family too. It's always tough for a teen to go through something like this, but as everyone says, they bounce back so quick!!

A former working partner back in Illinois (and my sister's husband's brother!) is undergoing surgery for amputation of his leg up to his hip. Infection and diabetes and complications of both. Please add Norman to your prayer list today. His condition is listed as grave.

I also am praying for Norman, Caitlin, and Brent.

Marshall, let us know when the date approaches, so we can pray in unity. Wow, 4-6 weeks sounds like a lot. Can't they remove it via laparoscopy?

The cyst is approximately 14cm. They're going to try laprascopy but if they can't shrink it enough then they'll have to go the other way. :-( We jsut found out her surgery is scheduled for March 10th so I really appreciate everyone's prayers. :-)

Marshall - praying for Caitlin!!! Oh your poor daughter, I'm sure she's very worried, as I'm sure you are too. 4-6 weeks is a long time to be down. Are they doing an abdominal incision? They must be. If it's any consolation to you, I had an ovarian cyst removed once, or I should say it had gone away by the time my doctor got in there (I had a laparoscopy). They are almost always benign too. Neighbor next door had one the size of a baseball when she was in her early 30s. Required major surgery to remove it. Her cyst was benign. Please keep us posted.

Wow, 13 years old is quite young to have an ovarian cyst, isn't it?

My mother has had ovarian cysts over the last several years, one one them got pretty large the last few months and was removed laparoscopically last Wednesday. luckily it, too was benign. I wish her the very best, Marshall.

Jeremy, hope all goes well with your stepdad.

Another occasional reminder... I am checking through the posts in this thread. :)
