UPDATE: Just spoke with mom, he is likely staying in the hospital...good news it was not a stroke, bad news is he has some sort of infection. Running one more test, but results not expected back until 1am.

LATEST INFO: Dad continues to stabilize...the final test, as far as I know, came back negative...a spinal tap was done last night around 1230am...far as I know, nothing showing...this is a scary time, and I continue praying...I also continue praying of course for other requests as well...just b/c my dad's in the hospital don't mean I don't care about others...you all continue to be in my thoughts!

Thanks for the update Jeremy. It sounds like everything is slowy but surely stabililzing and seems to be under control. Continuing the prayers for W. Houston.

I am still in pain, to say the least, but at least a little more ambulatory than I was yesterday. The prayers are working. I didn't need to take any pain meds till later am and I haven't had any of the narcotic pain med since last night.

Looks like I have some catching up to do!

I'm glad to hear that Brent is doing better Steve and prayers are going out to him and Norman.

Marshall - what a scary time it is for you and your family - especially since it involves your 13 year old daughter. My prayers are going out to you, your daughter Caitlin and the rest of you family.

Jeremy - I'm happy to hear that your father doesn't seem to have anything serious as of now. My thoughts are with him and you and your family.

David - what are we going to do with you??? I hope that you are feeling better soon and that this new job is the one for you!

All I can say is that the ENEMY is working OVERTIME in our lifes right now, I mean, I haven't stopped by here for a few days and there are soooo many things going on!

Rest assured my dear friends, I've not forgotten anyone, nor will I cease my prayers and petitions before the Father until everyone of you that have requests, report that He has done His mighty work in your lifes!

Once again, prayers are needed in this direction! My son, Chris, was in a car accident this afternoon, right after church no less. Nothing TOO serious, his van is driveable, the nimrod that pulled in front of him, not so good, she's OK, her car, "TOAST!" big time, I mean, running a full size Chevy 3/4 ton van into a Subaru Forester, NO CONTEST! Chris is a little banged up, a couple bruises here and there, a banged up knee and BROKEN EGO! Poor kid.....so, whisper a little a prayer for him tonight would ya?

That's why the call them accidents! Glad to hear that you are all ok...even though it is upsetting to your nerves and all those muscles that you never knew you had. Usually after the third day, the pain starts going away. I hope that's the case.

Jeremy...extra happy to hear about your dad, too. Hopefully the doctors will get to the bottom of his condition and be able to help him permanently.
