I hope so and they get him soon dead or alive but I prefer to take him alive because he would suffer much more in a dark jail hole during the rest of his life. :

The special forces are "absolutely confident" there is no escape for bin Laden, and are awaiting the order to go in and get him."The timing of that order will ultimately depend on President Bush," the paper says. "Capturing bin Laden will certainly be a huge help for him as he gets ready for the election."
Well like I said before, that he would pop up at a time when bush needed him to boost his re-election. I will check on it cycloneye as I have busy all day. We are in the process of selling our house and have been cleaning odds & ends. Our future agent just spent 1:30 with us going over eveything.

US negates reports on Osama's capture
Saturday, 21 February , 2004, 06:09
Washington: The US has scotched reports coming out of Pakistan that its forces have captured Osama bin Laden.
"That would be news to everybody in this room. No, I haven't heard anything - haven't heard anything like that," spokesman Scott McClellan told reporters at the White House here yesterday.
Asked to clarify what prompted President Pervez Musharraf to say a couple of weeks ago that Pakistani forces would have bin Laden by the year-end, the spokesman said, "I speak for the President. Obviously, I don't speak for President Musharraf."
As for whether the capture of bin Landen would signal the end of the war on terrorism, McClellan said the war on terrorism would continue. "And obviously, we have made significant progress in the war on terrorism. But as the President has said, this is something that is not going to be won overnight."
He pointed out that the US and its allies had already either "captured or otherwise gotten rid of two-thirds of the al Qaeda leadership and we continue to pursue other members of al Qaeda, including Osama bin Laden."
"We will find him [bin Laden] and we will bring him to justice. The President has been very clear on that."

I would love it if some 10th Mountain soldiers from Fort Drum were the ones to capture him. We have lost 28 in the past year alone, and they need a real morale booster about now. Besides, the 10th is the largest force in Afghanistan, so the odds of some local soldiers getting him are pretty good if Pakistan doesn't get him first.

Well it's a FOAF email report right now. The site referenced has nothing on it yet which is why it is not confirmed. It might be from an inside source there. It could be someone playing a game, so who knows right now. Here is the report:
IRIB News out of Tehran is reporting that US and Pakistani forces have captured Osama bin Laden at 2:15 GMT during a joint operation along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border early in the morning. Details are sketchy, but he was captured after a lengthy and bloody firefight between US Special Forces and Laden´s bodyguards (numbered between 40 and 50). Most were either killed or wounded, during the firefight or trying to flee into the mountains. Laden was seriously but not mortally injured when shot at least once as he attempted to flee. It is reported that he was quickly isolated and transported out via helicopter. His current whereabouts are unknown, but it is suspected he is on a US carrier in the Mediterranean. It may be some days or weeks before US command or the White House acknowledge the capture.

I really hope that the US comfirms this very soon as I dont want the Bush administration to delay the news to say about it closer to election day but I dont think that they will do that kind of thing.

I agree 100% I heard on the news that they do have him pinpointed right now and he has no way to escape. Hope we nail him this time.
