SOUTHEAST OF EUREKA...MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS...

FOR YOUR PROTECTION...MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF
YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PLEASANT HILL HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
PLATTE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 800 PM CST

* AT 702 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL TO THE SIZE OF
QUARTERS...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS
LOCATED NEAR EASTON KS...OR 16 MILES EAST OF OSKALOOSA...AND MOVING
EAST AT 30 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
WESTON BY 715 PM CST.
FARLEY BY 720 PM CST.
PLATTE CITY BY 725 PM CST.
KCI AIRPORT BY 730 PM CST.
RIDGELY BY 740 PM CST.

THE TOWNS OF WEATHERBY LAKE...FERRELVIEW...PLATTE WOODS AND LAKE
WAUKOMIS ARE ALSO IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE
IMMEDIATELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...AND DEADLY CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING. PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

REPORT SEVERE WEATHER TO THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. THEY
WILL RELAY YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN
PLEASANT HILL.
