Just thought I would point out that the NWS here in RAH, has us getting lots of sleet........is this just conservative or is everyone calling for 4-8 inches just full of crap?

Hmm, I would think it would be the other way around considering that late in winter sun angle is higher, artic and cold air masses are less frequent and when they do come that are usually more moderate as opposed to say a January Artic airmass.

Ok Fishel on channel 5 says that we are going to start with snow around 9 ish in the morning then snow until around 8 tomorrow night and then it will change to sleet or ZR for a good chunk of the night. Now I didn't know we had a warm nose coming up this way........is this true?
