RaleighWX here, RAH update

#1 Postby awhuffma » Fri Feb 27, 2004 12:37 am

Very heavy snow falling now. We have gotten about an inch in the last 2 hours, and we are now in the heavy snow. No sleet at all. I was gong with 4 to 6 inches additional earlier bringing us to 6 to 8 for the storm. But I may need to upgrade to additional 6 to 8, with 8 to 10 for the storm.

extremely heavy snow right now. heaviest snow of the year easily. Will see more with this storm than we have all year as well. Roads completely covered...blowing and driftig snow. can no longer see the cell phone tower that i ahve been able to see all day and night. the flashing lights are nothing/nonexistent right now. Easily 3-4 on the ground...expecting close to 8+

Maybe because any and everybody who makes that decision is asleep right now...only weather weenies, drunks, insomniacs, and druggies are awake at this hour!
