Yes we are, holy cow!!!!!

Thundersnow right now with intense snowfall. Over a foot and counting here on the Southwest side of Charlotte. By far the heaviest snowfall rates I've seen since my days in Traverse City, MI with lake effect snow squalls.

Holy crap ... dynamic ULL for sure!!!

Send some of it THIS WAY ... Dry slot screwed CHS again ... only have had some sleet mixing with rain at times today earlier (temp fell to 33º at CHS, near FRZ here) ... Down to 38º right now with light rain, and some sleet mixing at times ...

COUNTY NORTHEAST TO CABARRUS COUNTY...OR ALONG AND EAST OF I-85 FROM
SPARTANBURG TO KANNAPOLIS THROUGH 1030 PM. AREAS FROM ROCK HILL NORTH
TO CHARLOTTE AND MONROE MAY RECEIVE THUNDERSTORMS THAT WOULD PRODUCE
INTENSE SNOWFALL. ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS COULD RANGE FROM 1 TO

We saw some sleet here on the MS Coast for about 10 minutes last night. No idea where it came from. Temps were 42 at the time.

Don't remember what time it was. According to Mike Reader this was not supposed to happen. It only lasted about 10 minutes.

It's very rare to have sleet with temps in the upper 40's

I saw no reports of it anywhere last night on the coast.
