My number one vacation spot of all times is Englewood, FL.. My fishing destination ;-) AWSOME fishing.. Snook galore.. Its GREAT.. and the rooms are real nice.. Modern. Big kitchen two bedrooms big living room.. 32 inch tv.. and step out your door and boom, your fishing ;-) Its down in sw Florida.. You are on the very point as you can see it the pic. Went every year with my folks when I was a kid, and continue to go there now.. My brother and some of our friends meet up and go now.. :-)

I've never been to the Carolinas and I would like to try it out eventually.

If you ever decide to try to go alittle further north, I recommend Ocean City, MD. The beaches are nice with tons of condos for rent seaside and bayside. It's easy to get from one place to another because of public transportation. The driving on the weekends can be slow because of the people coming in and leaving. There's tons of restaurants, bars, shops, miniature golf places, ice cream stores, etc. Just a thought.

Miss Mary look into time shares. If they have opening when you want to go, it's pretty reasonable to stay for a week or what ever. We stayed at one near Disney last year, it was a beautiful place and only paid $69 a night. Had to go thru their 90 minute sales pitch, but that was worth it.

We're looking into the Emerald Isle area, in N. Carolina. Anyone ever visit this region? We've been able to find many 2BR/2BA condo's available. I've spent probably a total of 8 hours online looking at beaches up and down the east coast. So time consuming! We ruled Virginia Beach out, since it's mostly hotels.

But if anyone has info on the Emerald Isle/Salter Path area, let me know!

Thanks.

Mary, in answer to your question from a month ago, I feel that North Myrtle and Surfside are much more quiet than Myrtle but I think the girls would still enjoy it and you would too. I don't know anything about Emerald Isle.
Good Luck

Karan - thanks but hubby nixed Myrtle Beach. It is THE place to go from Cincinnati, so he just assumes it's packed. Even North Myrtle! We then looked at Virginia Beach, ruled that out since we'd be back in a hotel room again with 4 people, my girls are teens now and need more privacy. So I'm happy with Emerald Isle. Just booked a 2BR/2BA condo today. Kids are happy, we're happy. LOL It's south of the Outer Banks but north of Wrightsville Beach, if that gives you any idea where it's at. Here's a link, if interested.

Thanks for the help though!

I always thought you had to be 18 or older to do gambling of any kind.

Okay, Jeremy... you found the information yourself.

I assume the majority worldwide is 18 years old. It has been 18 years of age in the U.S. for awhile now.

We're going to Gulf Shores, AL the middle of next month. Gulf Shores is on the Gulf(LOL) between Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL. It's about a 4 hour drive from here. We went to Destin last August, stayed in Seaspray Condos and had a blast. This time we are likely staying in a condo(got a place in mind, will probably book by week's end).

I'm looking forward to it. :P :P :P
