Sick. :-(

#1 Postby Cheesy_Poofs » Mon Mar 01, 2004 5:39 pm

Yep..I'm sick for the first time since 2 1/2 years ago when I had the chicken pox! Started out as a soar throat Friday, then the sniffles on Saturday, then the sniffles and a cough Sunday...and now a headache, a cough, and the sinffles.

Poor Cheesy...you're in my prayers and thoughts, Wxbuddy. :(

I wish you a speedy recovery! :)

Keep a pack of Hall's cough drops or Cepacol lozenges nearby.

Chicken soup, Sleepytime tea and a Vick's breathe-better will work wonders for you, too! :)

There's strawberry-flavored Zicam chewables available, also.

Cheesy-buddy -- I can relate. I've had the cough, sore throat, and sniffles for the past few days now, after finally knocking that long-term post-Thanksgiving-through-New-year crud I had earlier. Thankfully, no clogged ear this time. I stayed home all day today and slept because I didn't sleep well last night.

Sending up prayers for a speedy recovery for you and me both. Take care and get plenty of rest. :) (((((Hugs))))))

Eric -- isn't Sleepytime tea great? I need to get some more so I'll quit waking up in the middle of the night.

This flu bug has gone around work and around my family quite hard. Luckily, I haven't gotten it yet (knock on wood). Several people I've known have had it for nearly 4 weeks.

ANyway, hope you feel better soon ILS.

Hope you feel better soon.

I hope you start feeling better soon Cheesy. I fought the crud on and off for a couple of months...finally got rid of it recently. (it took antibiotics)

Hang in here, Cheesy Poofs.

My friend, Becky was sick all weekend with the stomach flu and I spent the entire weekend with her and her daughter, and babysat her daughter when Becky needed some rest ... I've had a scratchy throat off and on since last Tuesday, and it isn't real fun.
