I don't see it much lately, but I still crack up at the "Jake: Identity Theft Victim" commercial for Citibank. "Fifteen-hundred dollars for a leather bustier? I didn't care...I just HAD to have it."
I absolutely DESPISE that idiotic Quiznos ad with those psycho gerbil looking-things (which I've read are called "sponge monkeys").

I like the lipator(sp?) commercial where the twin men are walking around in what appears to be a gym. Suddenly one of them slams into a glass wall. I crack up when I see him do that. Reminds me of my daughter when she was about 5. She ran right into my in-laws sliding glass door as if it were open.

I LOVE THAT ONE! That's my favorite out of all of those commercials. The expressions on his face as he's immitating the girl that stole from him are priceless!
Overall, my favorites will always be the Budwiesser commericals, especially with the Clydesdales.

Not only that, Dennis... there are new members reading and posting in the off topic forum, as well as
current members possibly checking out these threads in this forum more and more.
I like the Verizon commercials... "Can you hear me now? Good!" The latest one has the guy saying just, "Good!"

I like the one where the guy is golfing, swimming, barbecueing up a storm...cutting the grass with his riding mower....not a care in the world. He says, "how do I do it? I'm in debt up to my ears. I can't even afford to pay the interest on my credit cards"!
He's smiling the whole time...it just cracks me up,
Its a commercial for e-loan I think.

Tiger is a rising star in that new commercial...it's about as "loose" as I've ever seen him. But then for a 7-figure endorsement, I'd be loose too.
I also like the one for E-loan or Greenlight with the guy enjoying life on plastic!
There were some good ones on the night of the Academy Awards, but not so good that I can remember them.

j... I like that commercial, too! I crack up when I see it.
My favorite though is the Miss Piggy/ Jessica Simpson Pizza Hut commercial. I just love the Muppets! Oh, and don't forget the 10-10-220 commercials with Alf.

Ever the romantic, I love the Barilla Pasta commercial.
You know the one where the woman is in her apartment making a pasta dish for company and smiles at the guy in the apartment across the way as he reads his paper. She then finds that the pasta she has used is in one big CLUMP. Ahhhhha a knock at the door - but no one is there. She looks down and finds a box of Barilla Pasta.
As she is enjoying her dinner with friends she glances across the way to her newly found friend and the man who saved the day.
I see a real LOVE connection here!!!!!!
