I have a cingular wireless (the pay as you talk kind... so no big bills for me!)
I was wondering if anyone knew if you could send a text message from the phone to a computer email address (I do this from my computer to my moms phone everyday, but she is in South Africa, and I dont know about cingular)
Anyone know???? Cause I thought I could just send a text message to someone at S2k to let you all know about the baby tomorrow????

I think you can (assuming you have text messaging on your plan). I do it all the time with Suncom.
Usually you can enter different addresses whether it be "home", "cell", or "e-mail", for any particular phonebook entry. You will just have to add an e-mail addy to one of your s2k phone contacts.
