This summer will NOT, I repeat, NOT, be anything like 1992.

Give it a 60 percent chance of normal heat and humidity, but I think we will have several long periods of blistering heat waves with little or no rain. This is going to be a very tough summer to get through in the East and Southeast. We won't see a 'cane in the Mid Atlantic this summer, the GOM will see several, but this summer will be long, HOT, and dry as a bone.

Trees are budding, robins are flying around and the grass is sprouting!! My daffodils are coming up all over the place!!! :)

My thoughts exactly... I'm through with winter and the only thing I'm looking for on the models is a return to above-average temperatures. Hopefully it won't be more than 10 days before some ridging and warm temperatures return to the East.
