#1 Postby chadtm80 » Wed Mar 03, 2004 7:31 pm

The Democratic Party's presidential front-runner, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), has pledged that if elected he will abandon the president's war on terror, begin a dialogue with terrorist regimes and apologize for three-and-one-half years of mistakes by the Bush administration

The only good thing about Kerry winning all the primaries and caucasus he has one so far, is that he is from Massachusetts.

What a bold statement for him to make. But then again, this is John Kerry.

Way too dangerous to be President. I still haven't figured out how he got the nomination. Lack of decent Democrats wanting to run? :)

I still think he's the sacrifical lamb si that Hillary can run in 2008. Hillary didn't want to run against President Bush so they're running Kerry and expect him to lose. That will clear the way for Hillary in 2008

I think they are clamoring for a Liberal extremist.

THEY have definitely forgotten. Ever wonder what Kerry's view on terrorism and HOW to fight it might differ had his wife or children been incinerated on 911?

I wonder if their would be ANY limit to the funding he would request from Congress to do WHATEVER it takes?

I think we all know, including you Liberals, the answers to these questions.

Frankly, my view is that GW will be re-elected due to several points: you just don't change horses mid-stream while we're fighting so many priority battles and while we're trying to keep the terror guys away in the short term. Bush is experienced in foreign policy, Kerry is not nearly as skilled, and right now we need a strong leader. This is not the time to test drive a "first production year" car. If so and he's got leaky valves, we'd have to either trade it in or invest in many other 'fixes' like additional personnel to help smoothe out decisions that one guy, our main guy, can do now. Maintenance costs are pretty steep on P-Year 1 cars, er, horses.
