Do you think the showers and t-storms developing ahead of the squall line will help to decrease the intensity of the squall line by stabilizing the atmosphere?

If they can form into discrete cells themself... they may be where the tornadoes actually form.

You mean the t-storms developing ahead of the squall line? I can understand that. Just curious if the squall line will tend to decrease in intensity with the shower activity ahead of it. Earlier, there was severe t-storm and tornado warnings up and down the line. That area is shrinking as it approaches DFW and moves into the area with the developing rain showers.

The squall line would be more of a damaging wind threat than tornado threat if the cells out in front can get established.
