Oh helen if Kerry wins North Korea will be a BIG BIG problem for the US more than Iraq because they want consessions that Bush hasn't caved into and to me it is very dangerous to negociate with KIM JON ILL.

Tell me this. If John Kerry wins the election, isn't the Congress still made up of Republicans for the most part? And don't these same Republicans have the right to veto requests that the President makes?
Unless I'm mistaken, the President can't do whatever he wants without approval from Congress.

Ok guys this thread is about North Korea and their desire to deal with Kerry as the future US president not sidebar issues so let's stick to the theme.

As it stands now the Republicans hold the majority but do not have sufficient votes to overturn a Presidentil veto.

Actually during most presidential terms the congress is usually the opposite of the party of the President. This is one of the few terms where it has not happened.
As for the NK thing. I wouldn't be surprised they would pick anyone that goes against bush i believe. Most of those countries just don't want bush.

That is why Kim Jon ILL wants Kerry to be president because he wants to negociate but Bush has standed very firm not to do so.

The Danger
is that if Bush loses, which I also think he might (I'm certainly not going to vote for him-nor Kerry or Nader, probably Libertarian like last time-you see I don't like Bush at all after the hatchet job he did on McCain), then the Republicans could lose their razor thin majorities in the House and Senate and thanks to the turncoat iin the Senate they only have to gain two seats there to get a slim majority. My thought is that Bush will lose and the Republicans will lose their majority in the House and Senate but not by much which will put them in position for the mid term election which will probably result in enough Democrat losses to give the Republicans the Legislative Branch back. As bad as the prospects of a Kerry Presidency are, and they are bad, there's one bright spot-if Kerry wins, ATTILA THE HEN (HILLARY) WILL NEVER BECOME PRESIDENT and the prospect of her as President would be a fate worse than death for this Country.
