Who put bacon bits in your chicken..?

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Thu Mar 04, 2004 10:39 pm

We all have things we say to people when they seem snobby.. "what's your problem.. what is the matter with you.."

1 of my personal favorites I heard one time was.. "who put sandpaper on your toilet seat" lol..

Anyway.. This girl at school was getting on my nerves 1 day and she just out of the blue asked me "who put bacon bits in your chicken" lol

Since then we have adopted a "bacon bit" society.. and even named a king and queen lol

Anyway.. The purpose of this thread was to make you laugh and to also ask you this.. Have you or any friends you have had ever asked you any of these wierd types of questions, either when you've been po'd or your friend has..?

No question like that comes to mind. But I've always wondered about "right as rain." What's so right about it?

One I've heard often in general..."Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?" Not to me specifically though by anyone.

Somebody got wind of the idea and decided to run with it. :)

Bacon Bits and Cheddar Cheese Chicken
Preparation Time: Under 45 minutes

Yield: 2 to 4 servings

½ cup crisp cooked, crumbled bacon
½ cup bread crumbs
½ teaspoon thyme
¼ teaspoon savory
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 egg -- beaten
1 lb skinless boneless chicken breasts
1 cup cheddar cheese -- grated

Preheat oven at 350. Prepare a baking pan lined with foil, with cooking spray. In a shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs, thyme, savory, salt, and pepper. In another shallow bowl, lightly beat egg. Dip chicken first in egg, then into crumbs to coat. Bake for 30 minutes or until tender.

About 5 minutes before chicken is done, top with bacon bits and cheese, then place back in oven until cheese melts.

A classic of mine: "He/she is so ignorant, that they couldn't pour pi** out of a boot with the instruction written on the heel!"

Yeah Garrett, or very similar: "Who tied your underwear in a knot?"

I like: "Take a chill pill."

Reminds me of that episode where Ray let Deborah re-decorate the master bathroom...of course she gave it a feminine touch big time...guess she was able to find her way around in it after that! lol

I'll give you a PC version...don't know if anyone mentioned it before, but my friend used to say. They think they are so great "they think they're S&*! don't smell"
