LWX CWA folks- One last hope..
DT'S first call map has us with 1-2" of snow for tonight. I think temps will be borderline, but I do think MOST of the precip. will fall as rain showers. We'll see what LWX has to say in there afternoon forecast package.

I'm not sure why DT has any of us in the DC/Baltimore area... even western suburbs... in his 1-2" area. The models all point to low temperatures in the 35-39 degree range tonight, so even if we do see some mixing with snow (which I highly doubt will happen right where I am, but maybe up towards the M-D line?), I wouldn't expect any accumulation even in the grass. I'm looking at my thermometer reading 62F right now and wondering if we'll even hit 35 tonight!

I have to question DT's map as well. I personally dont see any way in heck that the DC/Balt corridor sees 1-2"--even if its on the grassy surfaces. Maybe the mountains to the west see that, but even here in the Eastern Panhandle of WV, its 57 right now. If air temps are to remain in the mid 30's, there's no way 1-2" accumulate with the ground being as warm as it is.

Its his first call so i wouldnt get worked up over it yet. I will add that out here where i am at i have been having snow/sleet and rain showers with temps in the mid 40s. Upper levels are very cold that tells me behind that front now pushing thru western MD.
Anyone as well look at the radars out this way??
Either way lets see what he says with his final call and keep a eye on those radars to the west which by the way as i said not all of that in OH is rain either especially in central OH. And this isnt considering whats dropping down out of the lakes and from MI.
