Darn March sun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has been snowing here since 6am rather moderately at times with temps 32-33 as a band has set up over SE Mass. As the cloud cover isn't dense(can see bright yellow spots) the higher sun angle is stopping accumulation. Some spotty half inch amounts on grassy spots but thats it. Sure is interesting watching this band on radar loops, apperently some kind of converging between nne winds to our north and ene winds south. During the last few minutes the visablity was about 1/16 mile but has come up some, generally 1/2 mile all morning. Snow should continue light-moderate through afternoon until upper low moves east of us and the snow area should diminish.

The Taunton, MA NWS forecast for western Plymouth county Sunday evening was calling for snow after 3 am (yesterday) and ending basically around noon. That apparently wasn't the case... as you said, David, it was snowing there at the time you post; which was 1:00 pm ET, exactly.
It was even slowing during the mid to late and early evening hours across eastern Massachusetts, too.
