Ways to make your kids eat Veggies.

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Mon Mar 08, 2004 8:57 am

To the parents of those who refused to eat veggies of any kind, Here are some ways to make your kids eat their recommended vegetables:

Hide them under a blanket of melted cheese.
Chop up the onion and mix it in with the hamburger meat before cooking it.
Mix the corn with the milk in the blender.
Grind veggies & fruit & whip into juice.
Put diced onions and peppers into the eggs
Dip peas into chocolate.
While making ice cream, pour a can of corn in it.
Slice carrots until they're tiny sticks and put it on the pizza befor you add cheese & other misc. toppings.
Buy vegetarian dinners, kids won't know the difference.
Inject bean dip into big dinner rolls.
While making crispy fish, put spinach leaves on the fish before you bread it.
Blend green beans in with the yolk while making deviled eggs.
Make ground up veggies into a pill form and call it their vitamins.

If anyone would like to add to this list, be my guest.

Also, celery with peanut butter or aerosol cheese. I've heard of "Ants On A Log"...a few raisins on top of peanut butter with the celery.

Not a veggie...but apple slices with peanut butter, too.

And if your kids are brave...they can try an Elvis sandwich...peanut butter and banana! 8-)

Of course those with peanut or other types of nut allergies...choose the aerosol cheese for celery and/or apple slices! :)

Eric :)
