MY GUESS ... THE DEMOCRATIC GAME PLAN WORKED

Keep a sharp eye on the upcoming Bush campaign ads. My guess is that you will probably not see any new Bush campaign ads with any pictures relating to the Islamic* terrorist attacks of 9/11. Is there anything wrong with those images? Of course not. The Bush presidency is defined by the events of 9/11 and what happened afterward. The Democrats know this .. and it doesn't make them happy. They would much rather define the Bush presidency with their skewed view of our economy (Democrats say it's bad, it's not) and the jobs picture (Again, Democrats say it's bad ... and again, it's not.) The Democratic game plan was brilliant. They knew the ads with the images of 9/11 were coming ... so they lined up their personal lapdog, Harold Schaitberger, the president of the largest firefighter's union, and a few widows of 9/11 firefighters who also happened to be Democratic activists to scream in outrage as soon as the ads hit. The Democrats knew that their media fellow travelers would jump right in ... and ohhhh did they!

Rightly ignoring the calls of a pro-Kerry firefighters union and some victims' families, the Bush/Cheney campaign has said not only are they not pulling the ads, they're not changing them either. As you can imagine, this doesn't sit well with the pantywaists on the left. Too bad. As much as the Democrats are trying to bury 9/11 as if it never happened, somebody needs to remind people of that day. Great ... it's about time we had a little backbone from the Bush people. Given the whining and complaining from the Democrats and the media, you would have thought President Bush was running ads on TV showing the clubbing of baby seals.

Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Bush campaign chairman Marc Racicot said "This is an entirely appropriate effort on our part, we believe, to recall a memory and to recognize what it is that it's going to take in terms of leadership to lead the war on terror." Right on target, because remember: under a President Kerry, there would be no war on terror. And that, more than anything else, is why John Kerry must be kept as far away from the Oval Office as possible.

This time they're not caving in.

Or are they?

OK ... so they're going to keep these ads running. In fact, I saw one of them on CNN this morning. My guess, though, is that you won't see any new Bush ads which remind Americans of 9/11. Running the ad they've already created is one thing ... creating more is another. We'll see if I'm right ... but for now, I think the Democrats are raising a victory toast.

fred barnes on fox just said the white house communications team is incapable of responding to democrat attacks, he says they have no one capable of responding. he says they are weak and fearful. i agree completely. the liberal media has them stomped into the ground. they are afraid to say anything. this is becoming an embarrassment. they also mentioned no republicans(specifically senators) are defending bush. how did these weaklings ever get elected. bush better do something starting tonight. republicans are starting to distance themselves from him. that is a very bad sign.
p.s.-fred barnes is a conservative and defender of the pres. he did say he thinks they wil do better. but lets face it. from rock bottom there is nowhere to go but up.
i would be a great addition to the bush team. at least they would go down fighting.
bush needs to do one of 2 things now. fight or quit.
if you are too timid to challenge kerry on anything, then drop out of the race. give someone else a chance to face kerry. john kerry should be easy pickings, but you are making him look like superman.

If Bush pulls those ads, it is time for the right to unite behind someone else, who will not cave

he will run them for a few days, then drop em. maybe the bush strategy is to let kerry rip him till nov, hoping people will feel sorry and vote for him.
democrats viciously attack till they win.

and it looks like i was right. think about it. where are the elected republicans backing up bush? they are nowhere to be seen. bush has 2 choices. either he can let kerry pre-approve everything he says, or he can mention 9/11 with every breath he has, and tell the liberal media to go you know where. i dont think he has it in him, and alot of conservatives like barnes and boortz think the same thing. time is fast running out. attack now or quit. you have to admire democrats. not for their policies, but for their single minded determination.
they attack and never stop, they never apologize for how or what they say. their goal is to destroy the opposition at any price. they dont care what the opposition thinks. they will use any tactic to win.
and folks, winning IS important. just think what a permanent 9-0 liberal activist supreme court will mean. can bush at least tell people that?

Why would you want him to attack though? You already said he would lose big time. bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla

because its his last chance, thats why. the liberal media is going to eviscerate him. his only chance is to attack the media day and night.
here is another very ominous sign. john kerry is sending his "administration" to iraq. there is one reason for that. he wants to be considered the "real" president. it makes him look presidential. for him to do this incredible move, it means he thinks the election is over.

i think its worrisome when 2 respected conservatives like brit hume and barnes are mystified at the bush team ineptness. brit said the dems won the 9/11 ad debate on sunday.
what really worries me is all this talk of all the money bush has to spend. i dont think it matters. with the media working for kerry he doesnt have to raise any money.

Ya know rainstorm, why don't you go to Washington and apply for an intern job in the White House, wouldn't THAT make more sense than your ENDLESS posts of DOOM and GLOOM? You'd be in the THICK of things, not bothering anyone and just THINK of ALL the BS you could get into!

Bush...cave??? Never gonna happen!

The only ones who are going to cave are the fence-sitting Republicans like you, Helen, who don't seem to express any confidence in W and who will turn around and vote for Kerry because you give in to the Democratic propoganda.

Why should he apologize or defend his ad when there is nothing to apologize for or to defend? Why should he attack just because they are attacking?
