Mine took about 10 days from the time I ordered it. From the "shipdate" it took the PC 3 days and the monitor 2 days. Good luck with the new speed burner! Now you can screw up many times faster ;-)

Congratulations, Johnathan. :)

I ordered mine online around midnight Friday, December 12th, just about on Saturday, December 13th and mine arrived between 7 and 8pm on Wednesday, December 17th..... only 5 days! :D

They also said that the monitor may come seperately and figured it would take at least 10 days to have all the parts.

Congratulations, Rainband! Hope you enjoy your new system when it arrives. The LCD monitor should be a nice treat -- I have a huge, bulky 19" CRT and sometimes wish I could just trade it in for a flat-panel, even if it meant going down in size.

Ours showed up five days after shipping, and it is a Dimension 4500; running Windows XP Home with 40GB hard drive and a LOT of extras for Debi's college work.

The 24/7/365 service package is worth the cost (we have the 4-year contract), and we have never been disappointed in our choice. :D

Mine was great right out of the box, well boxes... ... then my Windows XP slowly responding, which was actually not responding at all. Reinstalled it and has been basically been fine ever since, aside from a few "releases" and "renewing" of the "ipconfig." Which had to be done in order for me to access websites after installing my firewall and Norton Anti-Virus. I tried the above after Windows XP for whatever reason wasn't working correctly, but the IP Address wouldn't 'connect.'

I agree, JQ... what an enjoyable difference. :)

I purchased my Dell Demension 4600 last June. I ordered through the phone on a Friday night, and not even a week a later I recieved my monitor (a 17 inch flat planel) and the CPU. Pretty quick. Printer came a couple weeks later. You are going to like your Dell! :)

That's awesome Jonathan...hope it gets there quickly and that you enjoy it immesnly! It's always exciting to get a new computer! My first was a Dell and I was very pleased with it. We just have to keep upgrading to keep up with technology...2 years max on a new PC for us.
